What a day for Marching!

What a day!

The sunshine was out for our March for Erskine Live event, held in the Erskine Veterans Village, signalling the end of a month-long fundraising drive.

The Erskine team and the fantastic 1777 Dumbarton Squadron ATC cadets were on hand to cheer our marchers on!

Veterans Joanna Martin and Danny Mavor led the way of the 3K march through the heart of the grounds.

There were bikes, chairs and prams and plenty of seats along the way for those who wanted to take their time. There were single marchers, families, the young and those a wee bit older. They all set off with determination to finish the course and raise money for the Veterans of Erskine!

A huge well done to all who took on the challenge and earned their very well deserved medal.

There are just a few more days left for some of our fabulous fundraisers who couldn't come along on the day but are still doing their own distance challenge and Marching in March for Erskine!

We hope you enjoy some of our memories of the day.
