Gareth Toner, Trusts and Foundations Manager at Erskine: "We would like to thank ABF The Soldiers' Charity for choosing to support our Army beneficiaries again during this joyful time as Erskine celebrates the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Our Army Veterans and all our other residents at The Erskine Home, Bishopton are looking forward to the festivities over the long weekend and a Jubilee concert on Monday. The ABF has helped Erskine's Army Veterans and spouses time and time again and we are very grateful for this latest contribution which will help make our celebrations even more special."
Brigadier (Ret’d) Peter Monteith, Chief of Staff at ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, said: ““We are delighted to join in the Platinum Jubilee celebrations with our elderly veterans, many of whom will have their own fond memories of Her Majesty The Queen as a young Princess and her Coronation in 1953.
“Our charity treasures its close relationship with Erskine and the veteran care home community, as we pay tribute to Her Majesty’s 70 years of devoted service. We are immensely privileged that she has served as our Patron since 1953. Throughout the decades, her unwavering sense of duty and loyalty has been an inspiration to the whole Army family.”
