Tattoo Performances for Erskine Veterans

Tattoo Performance for Erskine Veterans

Residents at the Erskine Veteran Villages in Bishopton and Edinburgh were treated to fantastic shows by the Pipes and Drums of 2SCOTS & 4SCOTS.   Currently performing at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Edinburgh the performers but found time in their busy schedule to visit Erskine Veterans Charity.

Jessie Ellingham (94) said “The show was fantastic, there is nothing like the pipes and drums and of course the kilts”.

The 30-minute performances included favourites such as Scotland The Brave and Highland Cathedral.

Director of Care Derek Barron said: “We are delighted to once again welcome performers from the Royal Edinburgh Tattoo.  Our residents look forward to their visit every year.  Not all our residents can make it along to the main show in Edinburgh and this visit ensures that no one who wishes to see the Tattoo is left out. As always, the performance was spectacular and left everyone with a smile on their face.”
