Erskine is pleased to announce that we have received a generous grant of £5,000 from the Blue Light Card Foundation which will fund massage and wellbeing sessions for our care home staff.
After the conclusion of a one-off grant from the Workplace Wellbeing Fund, we are delighted that this generous support from the Blue Light Card Foundation will fund regular massage and wellbeing sessions at all three Erskine Homes for a further six months.
The Home’s therapists will deliver a range of massage activities tailored to the individual needs of each member of staff. The sessions will include hand massage, foot massage, neck and shoulder massage and aromatherapy materials.
Our previous programme of sessions has been very popular across the Homes and received lots of positive feedback. This project will continue to have a positive impact upon the wellbeing and health of our care home staff who work extremely hard to ensure Erskine’s Veterans can enjoy the best possible quality of life.
Erskine would like to sincerely thank the Blue Light Card Foundation for this support.
Established in 2022, the Foundation was borne out of Blue Light Card, the UK’s largest discount provider for members of the NHS, emergency services, armed forces, and social sector. The Foundation exists to increase resilience, enable potential and improve life circumstances for the Blue Light community. For more information, please visit https://bluelightcardfoundation.org/.
Jo Payne from the Blue Light Card Foundation: “We are delighted to have granted funds to Erskine Veterans Charity, whose care staff work incredibly hard to support veterans. This grant will provide an additional level of wellbeing support, allowing them to take a moment for themselves to rest and recharge.”
“It’s fantastic that Erskine Veterans Charity is seeking to further enhance the wellbeing of their care staff in this way. We’re pleased to be playing a small role in making it more accessible so that they can both better support themselves and continue to care for veterans for years to come.”
