We are proud to have Erskine displayed on the Petershill Football Club strip this season! The Club, who play in the PDM Buildbase West of Scotland Premier League, are semi-professional and are pictured during a recent game.
After playing in various leagues in Scottish Junior Football over the years, in 2020 Petershill FC joined the West of Scotland Football League, which forms part of the Scottish football pyramid. This opened up the possibility of clubs, at Petershill level, gaining promotion up through the leagues and into the Scottish Premier Football League. The Club has retained membership of the Scottish Junior Football Association which will allow them to continue to participate in the Scottish Junior Cup.
Royal Navy Veteran & Petershill Vice President Jim Watret is pictured presenting Petershill’s Man of the Match, Ross McPherson with his award at the end of a recent game.
Jim said “It is fantastic to see Scotland’s largest Veterans' Charity getting involved with one of Glasgow’s most successful semi-professional clubs and everyone involved with the club is looking forward to hosting the Veterans at a game in the near future”.
Everyone at Erskine wants to wish the team a very successful season.
