The Erskine Veterans Activity Centre North (EVACN) in Forres is a hub for Veterans in the North of Scotland, offering essential resources, peer support, and tailored well-being programmes designed to address the unique challenges faced by Veterans. The centre provides a welcoming environment where Veterans of all ages can connect with one another, learn new skills, and find renewed purpose in their lives after service.

Housed in the historic former Victoria Hotel on Tytler Street in the centre of Forres, EVAC North aims to serve the Veteran population in Morayshire. Morayshire boasts the highest concentration of Veterans in Scotland, thanks to the presence of nearby military bases such as RAF Lossiemouth and Kinloss Barracks. EVAC North is a hub for Veterans to reconnect with their community, learn new skills, and rediscover a sense of purpose.
Social – EVAC North is a space where Veterans can share experiences, build friendships, and find solidarity among peers who understand the unique challenges of military life.
Activities and skills – Veterans can participate in a wide range of activities, such as archery, woodwork, art, IT skills, and gym sessions.
Support - The centre will connect Veterans with tailored support services, including health workshops and collaborative initiatives with local organisations.
Opening Hours: 09:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday
Please note we will be closed over the festive period, reopening date in 2025 to be confirmed.
