After a 34-year career, Air Cdre Kevin 'Chesh' Cowieson retired from the Royal Air Force in Dec 2023, and moved back to his hometown, Dunoon in Argyll, and is now the Director of his own company, offering aerospace consultancy and business intelligence services to UK and international clients. A Board member and trustee since Jun 2023, Chesh puts his extensive experience of assurance and managing risk to good use on the Audit committee.

Throughout his career, Chesh commanded at every rank, and saw first-hand the real difference that Service and Veterans’ charities made to the lives of soldiers, sailors and airmen both in Service and those who served, in their time of need. He is incredibility proud to be a part of the Erskine Veterans Charity and play a small role in continuing that vital support.

A life-long learner, Chesh holds an MBA, an MSc in Human Resource Management, and a MA in Defence Studies. He attended the Royal College of Defence Studies in 2020/21. He is a Chartered Manager and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
